The NYCHA Youth Chorus, working in conjunction with Sing for Hope, held a Pop-Up Piano Day Tour in Manhattan on June 22. Our group performed at five Sing for Hope Pop-Up Piano events, from Lower Manhattan to Harlem.
In 2010 the Youth Chorus performed for the piano installation’s closing event in Lincoln Center and was the recipient of a street piano. The Youth Chorus has been nominated to receive a second piano this year!
